First time outside of Melbourne!
You've felt it for a while. The kind of unease that isn't just yours. The sense that whatever is happening in the world right now asks for something better than doom-scrolling and waiting for someone else to fix it.
A lot of us already know we want something more. Something sane. Something in touch with the seasons and the moon. Something that doesn't ask anyone to be other than who they are. The kid who is trans. The woman who is angry. The person who has never quite fit.
Witchcraft is the practice of knowing the seasons, working with the moon, casting for what you need, and holding your own power. It's ancient. It's still here.
The Roadshow is where the witches gather for a day. Come as you are. Whatever you already know, whatever you don't. The circle is open.
Then Christianity showed up, took the name, took the eggs, took the rabbits (the ancient pagan symbols of spring and fertility) and called it Easter.
Have you ever wondered what a rabbit laying eggs has to do with a Jewish carpenter being executed? It doesn't. Ostara does. The wheel of the year turns to spring, the earth wakes up, and the witches have been marking it since long before anyone thought to steal it.
The Roadshow lands in Sydney on the approach to Ostara: the season of new beginnings, of shaking off winter, of planting what you want to grow. The days are lengthening. The earth is stirring. This is our time of year.
Bring whatever you're planting this year. The room is the right place to name it out loud.
A lot of you. The angriest, funniest, most powerful demographic in any room we have ever held. Front row, please.
Witchcraft has always been a refuge for the people other systems pushed out. We do not ask anyone to be other than who they are.
You found the craft on TikTok and you stayed for the substance. We have the older sisters and the lineage you have been looking for.
Recovering from organised religion. Recovering from being told what you were allowed to know. We are not initiates-only. Walk in.
One room. Five sessions. Opening and closing ceremonies with the whole room together. Doors at 9am, home by 5.30.
Leela Cosgrove is the founder of High Priestess and of Witch School. Once described by a journalist as "a certified media darling", she's been featured on Insight, all over news.com.au, and in Take 5 Magazine (for some reason).
She's a third generation psychic, has practiced Witchcraft since 1995, and has spent 20 years running events.
Every teacher on the Roadshow also teaches a full course on the Witch School platform. This is where you meet them in person.

Faculty announcements rolling out from mid-July
Friday 11 September. The night before the Roadshow.
Practical Magic 2 opens in Australian cinemas on 10 September 2026. On the 11th, the night before we gather, VIP ticket-holders get their own private screening in a Sydney CBD cinema, just the Roadshow crowd.
It's the witch movie of the year. A room of witches watching two witches on screen together, then all of us in a room together the next morning.
The VIP tier is capped. If you want the Friday night, come in on VIP.
If any of these land, you already know.
Even one yes, or even one cautious "I think so?", means The Roadshow has a seat for you
Two tiers. VIP includes Friday night.
You'll be more than alright. There's no initiation required, no prior practice expected, and no entry test. The Roadshow is built for a room that includes people who have been studying the craft for thirty years and people who picked up their first tarot deck last month. Both are welcome and both are catered for.
Witch School Live is our full annual event: two days of deep programming, held in Melbourne through 2026. The Roadshow is our one-day format, designed to travel. Sydney on 12 September is stop one. The annual isn't going anywhere; the Roadshow is how we bring Witch School to cities the annual can't reach.
The focus of all Witch School content is the feminine and Goddess worship, and we work hard to make sure our paganism is intersectional in every way. The LGBTQI+ community is fully welcome. Men are welcome. Non-binary witches are welcome. We do not ask anyone to be other than who they are.
The venue is confirming shortly. Sydney CBD. Once tickets are booked, we'll send full venue details, transit information, and accommodation suggestions in your welcome letter. If you're travelling from interstate, the CBD is easy to reach by train, and there are hotel options across every budget within walking distance of the venue we're looking at.
VIP ticket-holders get a private cinema screening in Sydney CBD on Friday 11 September. Just the Roadshow crowd. The film opens in Australian cinemas on 10 September 2026, so we're catching it the second night of its release with our own room. Screening venue and time confirming as tickets go on sale. We'll even shout you popcorn and a drink, because we're cool like that.
The Friday night screening happens in a real cinema, and the cinema has a real capacity. Once we've sold every seat in the cinema, we can't sell any more VIP tickets. It's a hard cap, not a manufactured one. If VIP matters to you, that's the tier to grab first.
You can still buy VIP. The Friday screening is an add-on, and the priority seating and other VIP benefits apply to the Saturday whether you come Friday or not. But if you're a General ticket-holder and later change your mind about Friday, VIP upgrades are available while tickets last.
Cultural appropriation is a serious issue in the spiritual community and we take it seriously. We work with every speaker to ensure their material falls within our guidelines on decolonisation and respect for Indigenous cultures. We are also actively committed to platforming teachers from a range of cultural backgrounds rather than presenting witchcraft as a single homogenous tradition.
21 or more days before the event: you can choose between a refund or transferring your ticket to another person. 20 days or less before the event: no refunds, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. This applies to both General and VIP tiers. A no-show is a seat that could have gone to someone else. We keep the policy tight for that reason.
The Roadshow is the in-person expression of Witch School the platform. Every teacher on the Roadshow also teaches a full course on witch.school. If you have been taking courses online, this is your chance to meet your teachers in person. If you have not yet, the day is a complete experience in its own right, and a lot of attendees go home and continue with the teachers they connected with through the platform.
Sydney first. One day. Five teachers. Two hundred witches, or three hundred, or six. However many of you decide to be in the room. This is the school I wish I'd had when I was starting out, on the road for the first time. Meet me there.
